First time blogging: Introductions to finding a seat at the table

I remember writing stories back in Primary and how I wanted to write the entire day away. It was a passion of mine, until I discovered debating and Public Speaking of course, that I knew the different entities I'd love to associate myself with. It was in my first year in High School I joined the Toast Masters Society, then on to the Debating and Literacy Club, where I learned I had a voice to use, much bigger than anyone else I would say to myself. And during the years of practice it was there I joined a plethora of clubs and Societies. I couldn't get enough, from Spanish club to Key club to Student Government and many more.
Although I became akin to these groups I didn't maximise on them or allowed myself to see the opportunities it gave me, so I took charge.

In my final year of High School, I was appointed Junior Councilor for the Waterford division representing Fenley Douglas. Executed meetings, projects, networking all while trying to maintain a solid aademic record. At this point in time I was still participating in key club which is where I fell deeply in love with volunteerism, still the Public speaker for the Science Society because the projects just kept on coming and I had to keep up with them because everything had to be on point. During graduation I was acknowledged as a heavily involved, active member in school life, affairs, and school politics...

There's so much more to come my next blog.
